2. IT Policy
IT Policy artinya adalah restriksi atau adanya batasan dalam pemakaian BlackBerry.
Contoh restriksinya, misal tidak boleh mendownload attachment, gak boleh konek blutut, gak boleh install aplikasi tambahan.
Terkadang IT Policy cuman sekedar muncul default, tp secara operasional tidak membatasi sama sekali. Untuk mengecek apakah IT Policy aktif atau tidak:
Options - Status - ketik “BUYR” … nanti akan muncul Data Usage en Voice Usage
Kl muncul … IT Policy Enabled … ini baru artinya IT Policy Aktif …

Cara ngilanginnya ? Syaratnya harus OS nya versi 4.3 ke atas ya …
1. Download JL Commander

2. Instal aplikasi ini di Windows XP
3. Colok BlackBerry ke PC, lalu pastikan PIN terdetect di Desktop Manager
4. Matikan Desktop Manager, dan jalankan JL Command dari shortcut di Desktop
5. Pilih Reset to Factory Default, lalu saat layar aplikasi merah … jgn lupa tekan “Y” untuk konfirmasi
6. Blackberry akan restart … dan seharusnya udah gak ada IT Policy lagi … coba cek lagi aja

Prosedur:
1. Download installer OS Blackberry … cari dulu di internet … contoh keyword: 8700 4.5.0.69
Nanti dapet URL kayak gini: https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/entry.do?code=4C56FF4CE4AAF9573AA5DFF913DF997A
2. Install file OS yang udah didownload (Jangan lupa matiin Desktop Manager dulu)
3. Buka direktori C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
4. Hapus file Vendor.xml
5. Colok BlackBerry ke USB
6. Nyalain Desktop Manager
7. Klik AppLoader
8. Tinggal ikutin panduan untuk install OS …

Proses butuh sekitar 1 jam, paling lama saat proses Erasing Application (awal) ama Waiting for Device (terakhir) …

Note: Selama proses berlangsung, jangan dicabut Blackberry ama USB nya …
Kl terjadi kegagalan, tinggal diulangin aja koq proses nya …

Upgrade Blackberry relatif aman, selama ini selalu bisa diperbaiki dengan re-install dengan proses ini.

langkahnya uda bener belom om? sayak kemaren berhasil. btw bbnya 8310 apa 8210? berikut langkah yang saya lakukan :

1. instal DM 4.6 (paling baru) -> donlod di situs bb.com
2. instal SW BB ver 4.5 di kompie
3. colok BB, begitu bilang upgrade SW, cancel dulu
4. backup data bb dulu -> pastikan sampe selese ya
5. masuk Aplication Uploader
6. Instal deh....banyak doa coz lumayan lama (1jam an), bedoa supaya ga mati lampu. pake laptop ajah biar aman
7. Jadi deh!

Tips gprs menjadi GPRS

Tips ini berguna di kala BB kita menjadi lower gprs

- go to options
- go to mobile networks
- change network selection to manual
- search other operator
- select other operator and save
- turn off / take out your battery at least 1-2 minutes
- turn on again
- go to options
- go to mobile networks
- change network selection to automatic

Tips ini sudah saya coba di 2 operator dan berhasil.
Sekira nya tidak berhasil, mungkin ada gangguan jaringan di kawasan tersebut, silahkan kirimkan info detil berupa:

- no msisdn (no BB) nya
- lokasi detail
- tanggal kejadian dan waktu nya
- pastikan sudah melakukan P3BB

Mungkin sudah sering dengar kata² P3BB (Pertolongan Pertama Pada BlackBerry), berikut yang di maksud dengan hal tersebut :

1. Cabut batere minimal 1-2 menit
Fungsi ini sama seperti melakukan location update di handphone biasa, yang kalau di jenis tersebut bisa hanya dengan turn of / turn on lagi. Sayang nya BB harus dengan cara ini (CMIIW)

2. Registrasi HRT dari Options - Advanced Option - Host Registration Table - (pencel lagi tombol opsi) - Register Now Fungsi ini untuk memastikan HH anda terdaftar di network BlackBerry. Dengan telah terdaftar, maka tunnel dari HH anda ke infrastruktur BlackBerry sudah terbentuk. Tunnel link ini yang men-trigger capital GPRS/EDGE/3G.

3. Send Service Book (SB)
Kalau sekira nya HH anda belum mendapatkan self registration email dari BlackBerry, maka send SB hanya bisa di lakukan via pc / desktop. Namun kalau sudah berhasil mendapatkan notifilasi self registration namuan masih lower gprs/edge/3g, maka send SB bisa di lakukan dengan masuk via email setting (browser: http://operator.blackberry.com)

BlackBerry dg koneksi WiFi
Jika jaringan operator sedang bermasalah di GPRS / EDGE kita bisa tetap menerima email BlackBerry menggunakan WiFi. Atau pengguna BlackBerry sedang berada diluar negeri namun tidak mau menggunakan layanan roaming partner yang mahal, WiFi bisa menjadi alternatif yang murah. Namun fitur ini hanya bisa digunakan di handset BlackBerry type 8120, 8320 dan 8820.

Adapun cara penggunaaannya :

1. Pastikan SIM card tetap berada di dalam handset
2. Pilih Menu > Manage Connections, matikan mode Mobile Network dan aktifkan Wi-Fi

3. Masuk ke Menu > Options > Wi-Fi Connections


Tekan Menu > New

Klik tombol Next

Klik tombol Scan For Networks


Contoh beberapa sinyal Wi-Fi yang berhasil ditangkap

Pastikan jika ingin terkoneksi dg salah satu Wi-Fi yg ada. Kita telah memiliki informasi password untuk login Wi-Fi tersebut, itu untuk icon Wi-Fi yg terdapat gambar gemboknya. Namun jika icon Wi-Fi tersebut tidak ada gambar gemboknya, kita bebas menggunakan tanpa perlu login, langsung connected.

Contoh Wi-Fi yg memerlukan login :


klik tombol Connect, setelah memasukkan kode login dg benar.


Berhasil terkoneksi dg Wi-Fi

Contoh tampilan di 8320 koneksi dg Wi-Fi, terdapat indikator Wi-Fi (tebal) disebelah kiri indikator sinyal. Artinya Handset telah terkoneksi dan aktifitas email BlackBerry-pun langsung bisa digunakan.

Caranya adalah sebagai berikut:
1. Pastikan Desktop Manager anda telah terinstall minimal versi 4. Cara mengecek versi desktop
manager anda adalah sebagai berikut buka desktop manager – Help – General..

2. Hubungkan BlackBerry handset dengan PC/Laptop menggunakan USB kabel. Kemudian buka
Desktop Manager anda dari PC/laptop. Penggunaan BlackBerry sebagai modem hanya
berjalan apabila desktop manager dijalankan
3. Pastikan Modem Driver berfungsi. Dari PC/laptop, klik Setting - Control panel - Phone and
Modems Options. Pada Tab Modem , akan terlihat Standard Modem baru pada port yang baru
(misalnya COM3, COM6 atau COM 11).

Kemudian klik Properties - Diagnostics - Query Modem lalu
akan terlihat seperti salah satu dibawah ini :

3. Pilih "Set up my connection manually" - Next
4. Pilih "Connect using a dial-up modem" - Next.

5. Cek mark pada Standard Modem ( jika ditanyakan ).

6. Beri nama koneksi tersebut dengan nama seperti "BlackBerry Modem", klik Next.
7. Pada layar berikutnya pilih nomor telephone berikut, tergantung dari masing2 kartu yg
digunakan. Jika anda menggunakan GSM : masukkan no phone *99***1# atau *99#
8. Klik Next. Kosongkan User name dan password
9. Klik Finish.
Kemudian silahkan coba Browsing ke Internet menggunakan koneksi yang baru dibuat diatas

NISHA” BAR-LOUNGE 2006-2007

The project comes up from the intention of creating an entertainment space for adults of 30 years old and over. The place houses a lounge and a restaurant-bar area connected by a lobby. The lobby, predominantly in dark tones since it is covered with black metal plates and “terrazo” floor, is illuminated by psychedelic images displayed by eight plasma screens. The lounge walls are completely covered in wood and sourrounded by large windows overlooking to a forest; within this space there are several small sets of living rooms, each one with a plasma screen which recreates images simulating a fireplace, a fishtank or a landscape, etc. The furniture is comfortable and deep, all of them distributed around an exotic palm. The restaurant-bar is surrounded by crystal walls that changes colors in combination with the music and the videos. This section also displays a 15 meter long bar and further up, at the back, a same size by 3 meters height hi-res video screen submerges us into a virtual world: for a moment we can be watching the Earth from outer space, and in other flying through the clouds, exploring a tropical forest or swimming surrounded by sharks; all this liven up by a hi-fi sound equipment. The restrooms were designed as if they were part of the recreational spaces decorating them with a service bar and a cozy sofa. The use and the color mix in every single space of the premises generates visual delight complemented by the music, the videos and the social atmosphere
